King Thorne and Sable first met in Book 1 of the series of Eternal Mates. Upon there first encounter Thorne and Sable both found each other attractive, but Thorne new from the moment he set eyes on Sable that she was his fated one. Sable a “human” was thrust into wars in hell because of her friend Olivia whom we learned about in Book 1 kissed by a Dark Prince. Sable, is working towards commander at Archangel she and a team of hunters are preparing for a war in the Third Realm. This war brings Sable and Thorne together they have to fight side by side to save Thornes’ kingdom in the third realm. Where war is coming upon them the attraction between the two become unbearable, and their passion explodes and they find themselves falling even harder for one another.
I really enjoyed the story line I did find some of the events a little predictable but was also kept on my toes. I loved Thorne, he was very woo worthy, but Sable at times appeared hard to deal with. The only thing I was left wondering was information Sable came upon. Heaton does not conclude this information, and I am hoping to finding out what this new information means to Sable.

Synopsis: Jackie Moore, the worse witch in town when it comes to casting spells is placed on a path where she has to help those around her. Aside from Jackie being a poorly chosen witch with spells she does have one ability like no other, her lips. Her lips can cure, heal wounds and illnesses. One night home from work Jackie runs into a stranger, which is not normal in a town of supernatural beings. This stranger, Kyle has succumbed to his desires, the desire to bite and Jackie is his first victim.
Review: After I read the summary of what was to come, I pretty much thought I knew and figured out everything that would come to pass. I was wrong, this is not just some love story where two people automatically fall for each other for no reason. There is suspense, some thrills a couple of twists and of course romance. Jackie’s character is one that I can respect, she was helpful, friendly and a overall honest person just trying to help out where she could. I enjoyed reading Jackie’s’ inner struggles with her life and then the inner struggles she brought upon herself when she decided to help Kyle. Now Kyle sounds like a cutie, he was head strong and protective as well as understanding, he is not a dominant male character and that is so refreshing. He wants Jackie’s help, but he does not push her to help him nor does he make any over the top possessive scenes in order to persuade Jackie. This read was a breath of fresh air, it did not automatically show that everyone was over the top powerful and yet somehow still got beat by the underdog (don’t get me wrong I love those stories), but it showed multiple sides of learning, some form of training and moments of vulnerability.
This was my first Mandy Rosko book, and I have to say I was very happy with the results, and how fast I fell in love with the characters. I did look into reading the next book, but I am not a huge fan of the changing of characters and story lines from one book to another, but I jut might just give it a try.
This weeks new read is Kissed by a Dark Prince by Felicity Heaton, I will admit I am loving what I have read so far and I can not wait to get to the end.
