This year for Black History Month, I will be posting information a different author every day Monday – Friday of the four full weeks of February.

Some of you may be surprised by some of the authors that I will be posting, and some may already know about them. Martin Luther King Jr.

On this day Martin Luther King Jr day, I wanted to bring a post in memory of one of the most widely known civil rights activists in history.

Martin Luther King Jr was born, January 15, 1929, in Atlanta Georgia. Dr. King Jr was a Baptist minister and social activist who invested his time from the mid-1950s through until his untimely assassination on April 4, 1968. Attached to this post will be a couple of videos of Martin Luther King Jr ranging in animation to live videos of his most famous speeches. Enjoy.

Thank you Martin Luther King Jr for your dedication and hard work that you put into the beginning of the change in society, although we haven’t reached the promise lands yet, your work is never forgotten.
